Jacob Newman and Company

Jacob Newman and Co has been designing and producing exquisite jewellery and one-off pieces since 1940. Founded by Jacob Newman, his daughter Susan has run the company since 1988. She herself has worked in Hatton garden for over 40 years and has established an excellent reputation as a jewellery designer and goldsmith. In addition to creative work, Jacob Newman and Company continues to fit rings with the ingenious expanding shank, invented by Jacob Newman himself, to allow his beloved wife Adele to continue to wear the rings which she was no longer able to fit over her arthritic knuckles. The shank can be fitted to any ring and has allowed numerous happy clients to again wear rings which they never thought they would.
